Job Summary
Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, while offering professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Oversee and guide employees under supervision, ensuring Patient Centered Care principles drive all nursing activities. Demonstrate Service Excellence standards consistently. Requires current RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, plus one year of acute care experience or equivalent specialty training. Located at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Completion of a Specialty course
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification (adult patients)
- Current PALS Certification (pediatric patients)
- Current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients)
- One year acute care experience
- Successful completion of an approved specialty course
- Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility
