Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care as an Imaging RN in AdventHealth Altamonte Springs. Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors; develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with standards of care; administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions; educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies; collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care; demonstrate organizational, multitasking, and teamwork skills; maintain competency in nursing care methods and EKG/ALS requirements. RN licensure in Florida is required with BLS certification; Associate's Degree in Nursing is required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; 1+ year acute care experience highly preferred. Schedule: full-time, day shift, 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts with one weekend day per month. Pay range shown: $31.53-$52.24 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — active Florida license (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- 1+ year in acute care hospital setting highly preferred
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors
- EKG requirement (as per hospital documentation) and Advanced Life Support requirements
