Job Summary
Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level using the nursing process. Deliver safe and effective care while interacting with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Perform continuous standing, sitting, walking, and lifting duties, including transferring patients and exerting up to 50 lbs. of force. Maintain 20/40 vision, hearing acuity, and tactile sensory functions while working rotating shifts and overtime as required. Work 12-hour shifts within a 24–48 hour weekly schedule across a 6-week cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
