Job Summary
Registered Nurse II – Endoscopy (PRN) provides individualized, goal-directed patient care in the endoscopy unit under general supervision; expects proficiency in nursing process, patient safety, teamwork, and handling physical/mental requirements for perioperative care. Responsibilities include delivering safe, effective care and collaborating with the health care team to achieve desired results; requires nursing licensure, BLS (and ACLS), and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred). The role is part-time with 12 scheduled hours per week, day shift, in Columbia, SC, within the Medical University Hospital Authority system.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
