Job Summary
Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients using the nursing process; collaborates with health care team to achieve desired outcomes; requires RN licensure (SC or compact), BLS, and ACLS for most areas; 40-hour work week; sign-on bonus of $18,000; nursing education includes an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) also required for most nursing areas within the hospital
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred
