Registered Nurse II Outpatient Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Job Summary
Provide compassionate, family-centered nursing care for pediatric rehabilitation patients while coordinating with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. Develop individualized care plans to promote optimal function, educate families on medications and home care, and monitor progress to facilitate seamless care coordination across outpatient visits. Triage patient concerns with clinical judgment to ensure timely follow-up and support complex needs for children with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, and chronic conditions. Work primarily in the E Building with occasional travel to Mason, Union, and Eastgate locations. Maintain regulatory compliance, safety standards, and accreditation requirements while participating in shared governance and peer review processes.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Ohio or Multistate Compact License
- Will need to obtain a Multistate Compact License if hired
- Minimum of two years of professional nursing experience
- Strong assessment, communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution
- If hired without a BSN or MSN, must enroll in a BSN or MSN program within 1 year of hire date/RN job date and complete program within 5 years of hire/RN job date
- Active Ohio RN License
- May be required to obtain other state licensure
- 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Outpatient, rehabilitation, neurology, orthopedic, or care coordination experience
- Experience working with children with complex medical needs or chronic conditions
- BSN from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution
- MSN
