Job Summary
Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care for acute patients in the Neonatal ICU, including direct patient care, family education, and transitions of care. Develop and implement individualized plans of care that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors while fostering collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers. Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws to promote an optimal patient experience. Prioritize assignments and work within standardized procedures to meet time-sensitive objectives, ensuring privacy of protected health information. Utilize critical thinking to identify and solve routine or complex problems in an ever-changing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN license evidences completion of a RN program
- RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
- NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
- 2 years of recent relevant experience
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts and practices
- Medical terminology
- Anatomy

- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
