Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Littleton Regional Healthcare provides direct patient care across diverse patient types, adheres to LRH policies and the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, mentors ancillary staff, maintains nursing competencies, conducts thorough charting, educates patients and families, collaborates with the ED team to ensure timely care and appropriate resource use, and supports ongoing professional development and cross-training within LRH while maintaining certifications (ACLS, PALS, TNCC) and promoting patient safety and quality service.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science preferred
- 1-2 years previous clinical nursing experience in acute care setting preferred
- National certification strongly encouraged
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC (Obtained within 1 year of hire)
