Job Summary
Registered Nurse II in the Infusion Center providing professional nursing care, conducting assessments, administering medications and treatments, patient education, and maintaining medical records. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interprofessional health care team, leadership activities such as charge nurse or preceptor roles, and contributing to unit/governance initiatives. Requires valid Texas RN licensure, BLS or instructor certification, and chemotherapy credential within specified timelines; 12 months RN experience preferred. Day shift, Monday–Friday, at Houston Methodist Clear Lake; non-exempt, non-relocation eligible.
Required Qualifications
- RN – Registered Nurse – Texas State Licensure
- Texas Board of Nursing PSV Compact Licensure (must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days)
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA)
- Chemotherapy credential: FCIA or ONS-CICC, or ONS-CICR (current incumbents have one year) within 90 days
- Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment
