Registered Nurse II- GI Med Clinic

Provides patient/family centered care, acting as partner and adviser, assists and supports patients and families to optimally manage their health care while respecting culture and values. Applies clinical judgment to expedite appropriate care for complex or potentially life-threatening conditions. Supports medical staff with preparation, examination, and procedure, interviews and screens patients, documents in the medical record, and maintains accurate records. Performs telephone and in-person screenings, prioritizes and documents patient calls regarding medications and conditions, and ensures infection control and PPE compliance. Maintains room stocks, cleans exam rooms, and supports providers in a busy GI clinic setting. 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with equal emphasis on documentation, vitals, and coordination of care.
