Job Summary
Registered Nurse II – Garners Ferry ED, Nights 7p–7a, 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts. Provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and collaborates with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Requires Associate degree in nursing; SC RN licensure or compact state; current BLS; PALS; ACLS; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Work within MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care environment on the Garners Ferry ED.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
