Job Summary
Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients across the lifespan while collecting and recording relevant health data. Analyze assessment data to identify patient problems, implement appropriate interventions, and evaluate progress toward identified goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, advocate for patient autonomy, and ensure informed consent is obtained for all procedures. Direct and supervise patient care provided by LPNs and support personnel, while performing and documenting Point of Care testing and maintaining laboratory supplies and equipment. Adhere to research-based practice standards and complete required training, competency validation, and credentialing.
Required Qualifications
- 2 year / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Vocational / Technical Diploma Professional Nursing Program
- Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification
