Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for conditions including sepsis, diabetes, and post-operative surgical care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, prepare patients for discharge, and document compliance with legal standards. Float to other units as needed and adapt interventions based on patient responses. Maintain accurate documentation, operate monitors, and transfer patients while navigating busy clinical environments. This assignment requires full-time hours at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a pay rate of $58–$65/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc
- Expected to fill 's Regional Hospital
- Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region and work at any Intermountain facility
- This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
- Must be available for weekend shifts
