Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across Med Surg, cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, respiratory, pediatric, surgical, oncology, and maternity units. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, delegate tasks, and prepare patients for discharge with education and referrals. Document care accurately while maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards. Float as needed within the facility and across Intermountain regions. Requires 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience, current RN license, and BLS certification. Full-time schedule with variable shifts during 3-month assignments.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region and work at any Intermountain facility
- This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
- Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
