Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, diabetes, and cardiac issues while utilizing evidence-based practice and technology. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, develop individualized care plans, and prepare patients for discharge through education and referrals. Document care accurately, maintain legal and ethical compliance, and delegate tasks as needed. Float to other units within the facility and accept assignments across Intermountain regions in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada. Requires 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience, a current RN license, and BLS certification. Full-time hours during a 3-month assignment with a pay rate of $58–$65/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc
- Expected to fill 's Regional Hospital
- Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region and work at any Intermountain facility
- This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
