Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with conditions such as sepsis, diabetes, and cardiac issues while utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, prepare patients for discharge, and document care accurately in compliance with legal standards. Provide or delegate patient care across various units, including Med/Surg and ICU, while maintaining flexibility to float to other facilities as needed. This full-time assignment involves variable shifts, 2–3 rotations per year, and a pay rate of $58–$65/hour for candidates with at least two years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc
- Expected to fill 's Regional Hospital
- Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region and work at any Intermountain facility
- This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
