Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, respiratory, pediatric, surgical, maternity, and oncology units. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, prepare patients for discharge, and delegate tasks per guidelines. Maintain compliance with legal standards while documenting care accurately and adapting interventions based on patient responses. Float to other units within the facility as needed and accept assignments across Intermountain regions including Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada. Full-time hours during a 3-month assignment with 2–3 assignments per year required.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment
- Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Expected to fill Regional Hospital
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region
- Work at any Intermountain facility
- Includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
- Expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
