Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals with cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, respiratory, pediatric, surgical, maternity, and oncology needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, develop individualized care plans, and prepare patients for discharge. Provide or delegate care in accordance with guidelines while documenting accurately and adapting interventions based on patient responses. Maintain compliance with legal standards and float to other units as needed. This full-time role requires 2–3 assignments per year at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, with a pay rate of $58–$65/hour. Candidates must have recent ICU or Med/Surg experience and a current RN license.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment
- Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Expected to fill Regional Hospital
- Our iFlex RNs are expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region
- Work at any Intermountain facility
- This includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
