Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients across cardiac, orthopedic, neurological, respiratory, pediatric, surgical, maternity, and oncology units. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, develop individualized care plans, and prepare patients for discharge with education and referrals. Document care accurately while maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards. Float to other units within the facility as needed. Full-time hours over a 3-month assignment with 2–3 assignments per year required. Pay ranges from $58–$65/hour, with pro-rated housing reimbursement for assignments over 50 miles from home.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of recent ICU or Med/Surg experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Must be able to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients
- Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment
- Pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment
- Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms
- May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Expected to fill Regional Hospital
- All iFlex employees will be expected to accept assignments in any Intermountain region
- Work at any Intermountain facility
- Includes locations in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada
- Expected to float if not needed at assigned facility
