Job Summary
Full-time Registered School Nurse role supporting the Health Services Program. Responsibilities include nursing assessment of students, developing/implementing health plans, managing health screenings (vision/hearing), immunization compliance, medication administration, care for ill/injured students, health counseling for students/parents, staff in-service on health topics, abuse reporting compliance, collaboration with teachers for health education, parent information meetings, data submission for state/district reports, attendance at health services meetings, and performing other duties as assigned by the Principal/Assistant Principal. Requires RN license and CPR certification; prior clinical or school-nurse experience preferred; 181-day work year with salary per the district nurse schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN License
- CPR Certification (ARC or AHA)
- Clinical nursing experience and/or school nurse experience
