Registered Nurse - ICU

Registered Nurse — ICU on cardiac/neuro-focused units, provides and supervises patient care on a nursing unit under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions, developing and documenting plans of care with patient/family involvement, coordinating and evaluating care, providing education post-discharge, serving as preceptor to new staff and acting as charge nurse, with proficiency in neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning, post-operative care, and devices such as Halo braces and ventilators. Requires CT RN licensure, BCLS (or within 1 month of hire), and a BSN (preferred).
