Registered Nurse - ICU

Registered Nurse – ICU on a nursing unit, providing assessment, plan of care, and coordination of care under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include supervision of non-RN personnel, acting as Charge Nurse, developing and documenting individualized plans of care with patient/family involvement, educating patients and families, and ensuring smooth operation of the department. Requires Neonatal ICU experience, BSN preferred, and CT RN licensure; BLS required. Demonstrates competency in neuro patient care and airway management, including procedures such as suctioning and ventilator care; provides preceptorship to new staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
