Job Summary
Provide patient care on the ICU/NICU unit under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and supervise individualized patient care; supervise non-RN personnel; function as charge nurse; mentor/precept new staff. Demonstrate neuro-focused nursing skills, airway management, tracheostomy care, and care of ventilated patients; deliver education to patients and families; collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure outcomes and readiness for discharge.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
