Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs while providing respiratory and ventilator management for patients. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate physical and psychological support, conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document patient conditions using computerized systems. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care and assess discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. This role requires RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months, with a preference for ICU experience and a Bachelor's degree. Located at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Rutherford County, Tennessee, the 100-bed facility offers comprehensive adult and pediatric care.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non-ICU area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred
- ICU experience preferred
