Job Summary
Lead the patient's clinical journey by implementing and monitoring personalized care plans that prioritize safety, recovery, and high-quality outcomes. Coordinate a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure seamless, holistic treatment communication. Advocate for patient health by vigilantly monitoring conditions and communicating critical changes to the medical team for immediate, proactive interventions. Empower patients and families by assessing discharge needs and coordinating clear transition plans for successful home recovery. Requires BLS certification and Indiana RN licensure, with preference for 1-2 years of ICU stepdown experience in a high acuity setting. Full-time day shift coverage from 7am to 7pm at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, IN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
- Required professional licensure at time of hire
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1-2 yrs previous ICU stepdown experience in a high acuity setting
