Job Summary
Registered Nurse – ICU role coordinating nursing care, direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care. Functions within Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model with accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. Provides leadership through preceptor role, informal/formal leadership, and quality improvement; may participate on committees/projects. May drive personal vehicle as part of responsibilities. Requires state licensure and completion of VisaScreen or equivalent certification; TN sponsorship available.
