Job Summary
Assess patient psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity needs; construct and implement care plans integrating direct and indirect activities for diagnosed conditions and co-morbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary plans, developing goals, treatment, and discharge strategies tailored to individual requirements. Complete hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and proactively evaluate environments for patient comfort and security. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating service excellence standards. This part-time ICU role offers a flexible day shift schedule within Sierra Medical Center's 170-bed acute care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificates
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
