REGISTERED NURSE - ICU

Coordinate and provide nursing care to identified patient populations in the ICU, including accurate and timely medication administration, patient assessments, admission assessments, and care-plan development. Conduct rounds with physicians, delegate tasks to team members, mentor nursing staff and students, and ensure education and psychosocial needs are addressed. Maintain clinical competency across age groups and participate in discharge planning and care coordination to optimize patient outcomes. Requires RN licensure in Illinois and BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NIHSS may be required by department.
