Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse specialty units in adherence to all established organizational protocols. Implement and continuously monitor patient care plans, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of physician and nursing orders. Coordinate all aspects of a patient's journey by serving as the central link for communication and assessment among all disciplines within the healthcare team. Communicate and meticulously record all patient conditions, observations, and interventions to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated care plan. Float across various locations in the Austin, TX Metro area on nights with a pay rate of $60 per hour. Requires two years of current ICU experience and knowledge in medical, surgical, cardiac, and neuro critical care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for BLS Provider
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- RN with 2 years current experience in ICU
- Must have knowledge/experience in all aspects of Critical Care (medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro)
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for Advanced Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted for Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
