Job Summary
The Registered Nurse - ICU at Ivinson Memorial Hospital is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ICU. The nurse will provide patient education, manage critical care medications, coordinate with the healthcare team, and implement time-sensitive treatments. Required qualifications include a valid RN license from Wyoming, BLS and ACLS certifications, and two years of hospital and previous ICU experience. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. This full-time role also includes a competitive salary starting at $34.88 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Two years of previous hospital experience
- Previous ICU experience
- Annual completion of yearly required CEUs
Desired Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming
- Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Completion of telemetry course or demonstrate competency
Additional Requirements
- Must obtain BLS certification within 60 days of hire
- Must obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire
- Must demonstrate competency in telemetry within one year of hire
