Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to deliver patient care. Collaborate with physicians, family members, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, educate patients, and ensure timely documentation. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as needed to meet clinical outcomes and goals. Maintain legal and ethical standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and practice within the scope of licensure. Perform physical tasks including transferring patients, lifting equipment, and navigating crowded hospital environments. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN degree. Night shift with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
Desired Qualifications
- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date
