Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU providing comprehensive patient care through the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans, coordinate education, and ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Night shift responsibilities emphasize prioritization, time management, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Maintains documentation, adheres to licensure and regulatory standards, and contributes to professional practice improvement. Requires current RN license, BLS, and a BSN per updated job requirements; may involve transfer of compact license and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Experience with BSN preferred? (Note: BSN required as of 4/27/2025)
