Job Summary
Per-diem ICU Registered Nurse in Selma, AL delivering high-acuity care to critically ill patients. Responsibilities include managing ventilators and vasoactive drips, continuous monitoring, administering and titrating IV therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans. Requires a BSN, active Alabama RN license, at least 6 months ICU experience, CPR/BLS, and completion of credentialing requirements. Schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CDT on a per-diem basis with 30-minute break; contract/1099 engagement via Greenlife Healthcare Staffing.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of Alabama.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of RN work experience.
- Technical Skills: Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred).
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test results, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other requirements as specified by the facility or agency.
