Registered Nurse (ICU)

Per-Diem Registered Nurse for ICU in a Metairie, LA hospital. Deliver high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex conditions and advanced life support equipment (e.g., ventilators, vasoactive drips) with continuous physiological monitoring. Perform ongoing patient assessments, titrate medications and IV therapies based on data and physician orders, and collaborate with physicians, specialists, respiratory therapists, and other team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and families during critical illness; credentialing completes prior to start.
