Registered Nurse-ICU Full Time Weekend Nights

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document findings, and modify care plans based on nursing diagnoses and discharge needs. Collaborate with families, physicians, and the healthcare team to prioritize patient goals, ensure medication reconciliation, and utilize the teach-back methodology for education. Administer medications safely using bar coding, round hourly with patient care technicians, and participate in unit huddles and quality initiatives to prevent falls, pressure ulcers, and infections. Lead patient care for assigned staff, take clinical leads during condition changes, and serve as a resource for mentoring new staff. Maintain complete electronic documentation, utilize Alaris pump guardrails, and adhere to the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
