Job Summary
Conduct patient-centered care in the ICU by assessing psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity needs while implementing comprehensive plans of care. Coordinate interdisciplinary goals, treatment strategies, and discharge planning for assigned patients. Perform hourly rounds to evaluate patient safety, anticipate needs such as pain management and re-positioning, and maintain a patient-friendly environment. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team in accordance with facility policies. This part-time, flexible day shift role requires an accredited RN with current NV licensure, ACLS, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificates
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
