Job Summary
Conduct hourly rounds with purpose to evaluate patient environments for safety and proactively address needs like pain management, re-positioning, and toileting. Construct and implement comprehensive plans of care that integrate direct and indirect activities related to patient diagnoses and co-morbidities. Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment goals, discharge planning, and psychosocial assessments addressing spiritual, emotional, and diversity needs. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while demonstrating service excellence standards in accordance with facility policies. This part-time day shift role offers flexible scheduling within a 170-bed acute care hospital offering 24/7 ER, cardiology, and oncology services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificates
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- One year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
