Job Summary
Conduct hourly rounds with purpose to evaluate the environment for patient safety and proactively address needs like pain management and re-positioning. Construct and implement patient care plans that integrate direct and indirect activities while coordinating interdisciplinary goals, treatment strategies, and discharge planning. Assess psychosocial, spiritual, and diversity needs for assigned patients in accordance with facility policies and the Patient Centered Care framework. Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team within a 170-bed acute care hospital offering flexible day shift schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program
- Current NV nursing license
- Current ACLS & BLS certificates
- Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
Desired Qualifications
- one year full time or three years part time experience in an acute care setting
