Registered Nurse - ICU (FT Days)

Job Summary
ICU RN is responsible for nursing care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on the designated ICU, including monitoring and managing invasive equipment and devices (e.g., ventilators, pumps, arterial/central lines), administering medications and blood products, performing BLS/ACLS, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting in EMR, and providing leadership within the unit. Requires effective communication, critical thinking, and the ability to supervise and delegate to licensed and non-licensed staff; duties include patient assessment, care planning, and ensuring adherence to ICU protocols and quality measures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school program.
- Current Professional Nurse License issued and/or recognized by Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
- BLS and ACLS RNs in residency program must have ACLS by the completion of residency.
- TNCC a plus
