Job Summary
Registered Nurse - ICU Float Unit responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on the Neuro/ICU-focused unit; provides supervision of non-RN personnel, may assume Charge Nurse duties, participates in precepting new staff, and collaborates with the healthcare team to meet individualized patient needs. Requires BSN preferred and CT RN license; BLS certification; minimum 1 year Neonatal ICU RN experience. Strong skills in neuro assessment, airway/ventilator care, tracheostomy suctioning, and coordinating education and discharge planning as part of a high-level patient care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
