Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit

Registered Nurse on the ICU Float Unit provides ongoing neuro-focused patient assessment, plans and implements care with the healthcare team, serves as preceptor and charge nurse, and supports education and discharge planning. Key responsibilities include developing and documenting the plan of care, coordinating with the team, supervising non-RN personnel, ensuring airway management and neuro-specific care (including suctioning for pharyngeal, endotracheal, and tracheostomy procedures), managing patients on ventilators, and contributing to the organization’s patient-centered mission. Requires BSN (preferred), 1 year acute nursing experience, CT RN licensure, and BLS.
