Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Cardiac/Neuro ICU units. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care; supervising non-RN personnel; acting as charge nurse; precepting new staff; and contributing to patient education and discharge planning. Requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BCLS within one month of hire. Cardiac ICU and neuro patient care expertise, ventilator management, airway support, and familiarity with ICU procedures are highlighted. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification (or obtain within one month of hire)
