Job Summary
Registered Nurse in ICU Float Unit provides direct patient care, assesses and documents plans of care, and coordinates with healthcare team. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN personnel, serving as charge nurse, precepting new staff, and ensuring continuity of care across units. Requires BSN preferred, 1 year NICU experience, CT RN license, and BLS. Proficiency with electronic records, airway management, neuro assessments, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator care; familiarity with Halo brace and nursing education programs (Tia).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
