Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit

Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit seeks an experienced RN to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on an ICU unit, with potential to precept and serve as charge nurse. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN staff on the unit, developing and documenting a plan of care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and coordinating care across the continuum. Demonstrates neuro-focused skills (neuro assessment, airway management, tracheostomy and suctioning, ventilator care) and supports education through the Tia teaching program. Requires ability to use internet resources for literature searches, and readiness to work on other units as distributed. BLS required; BSN preferred; CT RN license active. Acute nursing experience (1 year) is required. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, integrity, accountability, and compassionate service.
