Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit

Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on the neuro-focused ICU unit; provides supervision of non-RN staff, may serve as Charge Nurse, and preceptor to new staff. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and revising plans as needed. Demonstrates competency in neuro care, airway management for neuro patients, care of trached patients, care during neuro procedures, and includes knowledge of the TIa teaching program. Proficiency with electronic patient records and nursing duties such as ventilation care, Halo brace management, suctioning, and general nursing interventions. BSN preferred; CT RN licensure required; BLS required; 1 year NICU ICU RN experience preferred. Location: Spartanburg, SC.
