Job Summary
Registered Nurse in ICU Float Unit responsible for ongoing patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care; develops and documents individualized care plans; educates patients and families; supervises non-RN personnel on the unit; serves as charge nurse and preceptor; demonstrates competency in neuro care, airway management, tracheostomy suctioning, and ventilator care; performs duties in accordance with unit policies and participates in education programs (TIA Teaching Program); collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes; requires BSN preferred and 1 year NICU experience; CT-licensed RN may be required (license specifics per posting).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
