Job Summary
Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care on an ICU/neonatal neuro-focused unit, supervising non-RN personnel, serving as charge nurse or preceptor, and coordinating care with the healthcare team. Must demonstrate competency in neuro assessment, airway management, care of ventilated patients and tracheostomies, and support education for patients and families. Requires collaboration with nursing leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to unit policies. BSN preferred; Connecticut RN license and BLS required; 1 year NICU experience highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Proficient In Use Of Computer Software To Include Electronic Patient Records
