Job Summary
Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit responsibilities include assessing patients’ physical and psychosocial condition, developing and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team, coordinating care, supervising non-RN staff, and serving as preceptor and charge nurse. The role requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of NICU RN experience, CT RN licensure, and BLS certification. The RN will work under the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator, participate in patient education and discharge planning, and perform duties across neuro-related and critical care procedures as part of a high-level ICU/NICU team.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- BSN preferred
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
