Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit

Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit role focused on providing specialized neuro and critical care to neonatal patients in an intensive care setting. RESPONSIBILITIES include assessing patients continuously, developing and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating care with the healthcare team, educating patients and families post-discharge, serving as a preceptor to new staff, and acting as charge nurse as needed. SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE requested include neuro assessment and care, airway management including tracheostomy care, ventilator care, experience with Halo/neck procedures, and familiarity with the TIA teaching program. Requires BSN (preferred), valid CT RN license, and BLS certification, with at least 1 year of Neonatal ICU RN experience.
