Registered Nurse - ICU Float Unit

Registered Nurse – ICU Float Unit. Provides continuous assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on an ICU/NICU unit, with supervision of non-RN personnel, supervision as charge nurse, and potential assignments to other units. Demonstrates competency in neuro-focused care including neuro assessment, airway management, vent care, tracheostomy care, Halo brace care, and specialized procedures. Requires BSN preferred and CT RN licensure, plus 1 year NICU RN experience and BLS. Uses nursing knowledge to develop and communicate a Plan of Care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
